Can you tell us some basic information about your self, name, where you come from, who you play for and favorite ice-cream flavor?:)
My name is Brian Strandby and im from the small country Denmark. My favorite ice-cream flavor is chocolate :D I play for MYM :)

For how long have you been playing dota? Have you ever got bored and considered switching to a different game or dota still entertains you?
I think I’ve played dota about 2-3 years now, started out as some relax games when I was not playing the normal wc3 ladder. Haven't really considered switching games, because dota still keeps me entertained. Dota is a really time consuming game, so I don't really have time for anything else if I still want to keep up with my studies and irl friends :)

What kind of heroes you play? Which is your favorite hero and why? Which hero and what Item you consider being the most overpowered in 52e? What would you change in next versions if it was up to you, give ice frog hot...

After a very intense couple of days, the representatives from the People's Republic of China (no doubt inspired with the Olympic Spirit) defeated suprise newcomers New Zealand in the final to become the 2008 WCG Asia DotA champions.

There were many upsets along the way, as New Zealand (who many predicted wouldn't even make it out of their group stage) beat top team KingSurf in the Semi Finals (look out for future posts about this up-and-coming team!). Australia's The Firm also put in a very good effort, making it out of a tough group that included Indonesia's Executioners and the Philippines' Mineski.

8 becomes 6 as SK-Gaming restructures their team and says goodbye to ARS-ART and Rwar.

After the success in DreamHack Summer 2008, SK-Gaming has decided to release ARS-ART and Rwar of their DotA duties. Team captain Loda says that the players didn't really fit into the team the way he had hoped.

- We both realized that the language and the difference between us as persons made it hard to stick together, says Loda about ARS-ART, and hopes that his former team mate can find a Russian team with less communication problems.

Rwar, the second player to get the boot, is also let go from the team, due to some "internal circumstances".

SK-Gaming is now down on a 6-man-roster, with the five Swedish players Loda, Akke, toMpa, Bogdan, hailo as well as the recent addition minitito, hailing from Croatia.

SK-Gaming defeated Evil Geniuses in the finals of DreamHack Summer 2008 and win close to €3,000!

Third time's a charm, as they say. After two regames, the match could finally conclude. The 40-minute-match was action-packed and SK-Gaming took the advantage early on. And dominating the game, with SK-Gaming really showing their A-game versus Evil Geniuses, the Swedes could claim the win.

Leading with 1-0 already for coming from the winners bracket, only one game was needed for SK-Gaming.

The development of some details is not yet finished, but since a lot of people ask for more information about the upcoming FARM 4 FAME event, here is a more detailed release of what it`s going to be.

The event is spread out over 20 weeks of playtime, with tournaments held every second week. So its going to be one week event, one week break from FARM 4 FAME.

FARM 4 FAME will start right after the DotA Masters #9 has finished, with a short period in between if needed.

As there is a big discussion which map version to use, the event will be played with v6.52c or the next stable map version, if there will be a stable version release before FARM 4 FAME starts. Changes due to leaks or problems with the map itself excluded.

As there are a lot of other tournaments and leagues going on, it will be allowed to miss up to three FARM 4 FAME...
